MechPress installs through the normal WordPress theme workflow. No external
framework, page builder, or companion plugin is required to establish the base design.
- 01. Upload the theme
Open Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.
- 02. Install and activate
Select the MechPress ZIP package, install it, and activate the theme.
- 03. Assign navigation
Create or assign the Primary and Footer menus under Appearance → Menus.
- 04. Configure widgets
Populate the sidebar and footer widget areas under Appearance → Widgets.
- 05. Set hero and footer
Use Appearance → Customize to configure the homepage hero and footer text.
